Preface
● Burmese does not have articles "the" and "a/an".
● Suffixes for plural:

● Burmese uses counterword, depending on the noun.
• [N] + # + [c.w.]
• 1 hamburger = han-ba-ga tă-k'ù.
• 1 can of beer = bi-ya tă-bù.
Some classifier/counter words.
● Burmese has Round Number rule:
• Standard: # + [c.w.] : 3 dollars = thoùn-daw-la. 48 tons = tan (၄၈).
• Round Number: [c.w.] + # : 30 dollars = daw-la thoùn-zeh. 480 tons = tan (၄၈၀).
• Exception for 10 : 10 dollars = s'eh daw-la.
• 1 kyat = tǎ-caq. 10 kyat = tǎ-s'eh. 12 kyat = s'éh-hnǎ-caq. 1500 kyat = tǎ-t'aún ngà-ya.
● Don't forget the voicing rule! 1 (tiq). 10 (tă-s'eh). 30 (thoùn-zeh).

Notes
Notice that when female speaker speaking, she will use ကျွန်မ to refer to "I" and ရှင် to refer to "you" or as polite tag.
Meanwhile when the speaker is a male, he will use ကျွန်နော် to refer to "I" and ခင်ဗျား to refer to "you" or as polite tag.
