To write the script: the script shape is tend to be circle and written counterclock.

တ = place your tongue on the ribbed part of the top of your mouth when you say it, spread the tongue wide. Keep it wide when you press the whole tongue (press NOT ONLY tip of tongue) to produce the sound. I would say it has a bit of "d", compare to သ that has clear "t".
သ = place your tongue in-between your teeth.
